Older People’s Services

Older People’s Services

At CHS Group we recognise that as people get older they often want a home that is more manageable and provides security, support and peace of mind to the individual and their family. Providing care and support for older people is at the heart of what we do. We deliver a high standard of rented social housing  in well maintained, attractive settings. We also offer the skills of our experienced housing officers to support you through your tenancy, and if necessary, we have highly trained teams of carers who can help you stay independent for as long as possible.

We offer:

Housing With Care – independent living with 24hr on-site care and support

Local Community Services – domiciliary services delivered at home within the community

Care Quality Commission Reports

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. CQC regulate care provided by the NHS, local authorities, care agencies and voluntary organisations. CQC aims to make sure better care is provided for everyone – in hospitals, care homes and people’s own homes. CQC also seek to protect the interests of people whose rights are restricted under the Mental Health Act. Under the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008, CHS is registered with the Care Quality Commission as a provider of adult social care services. This registration includes our two registered care homes Alex Wood House and Langdon House and our Domiciliary Care Agency – CHS Homecare.
