CHS has joined forces with 15 housing associations and the Combined Authority, local authorities and Homes England to increase the number of affordable homes in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area.

The ambition of the partnership is to build 40,000 additional affordable homes in Cambridge & Peterborough over the next 20 years with an initial target of at least 2,000 additional affordable homes by 2021.

Currently housing associations adds £100m to the local economy, more than 1000 jobs, and in the last year alone delivered more than 26% of the homes needed in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combine Authority area.
