Richard Newcombe Court is a purpose built extra care housing scheme which opened in April 2011 and is located in Cambridge city.
The scheme has 40 self-contained flats of which 28 are two bedrooms and the remainder have one bedroom. All flats have fully equipped kitchens and shower rooms with WC. As one of our tenants you would rent your flat from CHS, this includes a daily meal at lunchtime and support from our housing officer. There is a 24 hr care team based on site that can provide a personalised service planned with you and your family. We are also on hand to respond to emergencies. You live independently within Richard Newcombe Court and can attend social events, or meet with others in the lounge areas, as and when you wish. Local shopping is available on Histon Road and the bus stops outside the scheme.
