From the 1st of April 2024, Aaron Services will take over the servicing and maintenance of the domestic heating system in our homes. To ensure we continue to deliver an excellent service, we want to share with tenants what will happen leading up to the new contract start date. 

Heating Servicing Appointments 

Leading up to the contract start date of 1st April, Aaron Services will contact some tenants by letter confirming an appointment date for the annual service of their heating system. If a tenant already has a servicing appointment with Gasway, they should keep to their agreed appointment date. We will contact any tenant to let them know if their appointment date has changed for any reason. 

Out of Hours Emergency Cover 

Out of Hours cover will be provided by Aaron Services from 5pm on Thursday the 28th of March. The number to report an out of hours emergency has not changed and tenants should continue to call 0300 111 3555 Option 1 to report emergency repairs.  

Emergency Repairs 

As we get closer to the 1st April start date, we may need to prioritise emergency repairs over routine repairs which are non-urgent and can wait for an appointment. If a tenant’s repair requires their boiler to be replaced, we will agree this with the most suitable contractor, with the aim getting the boiler up and running as soon as possible.  

Routine repairs  

Between now and 1st April, tenants may start to notice that some routine repairs booked with Gasway will be put on hold which Aaron Services will pick up and contact tenants directly to agree an appointment date and time. We apologise in advance for any delay this may cause to tenants in completing their repair. However, we want to reassure all our tenants that we will do all we can to carefully manage these repairs.  

If, at any time, a repair becomes urgent, we would encourage tenants to contact us on 0300 111 3555 Option 1 to report this and to make our contractor aware if anyone in the household is considered vulnerable.  

Both Gasway and Aaron Services are very experienced in managing gas servicing and repairs to a high standard.  However, if a tenant is not happy with the service they receive, we would encourage them to contact us immediately on 0300 111 3555 and ask to speak to a member of our Technical Services Team.
