A number of our supported housing services in Cambridge have been given access to an allotment so that our staff and residents can grow their own vegetables and fruit.  However to get the ball rolling we need to prepare the ground and unfortunately the plot is quite overgrown.

We are inviting volunteers to come along to two ‘weeding’ sessions to help staff and residents clear and prepare the ground

Thursday 14th October: 11-1pm: Women’s only session.

Saturday 16th October: 10-1pm: Dig for All.

If you are hoping to come along and help please let us know beforehand by emailing CoronaHouse2@chsgroup.org.uk or call Nicky on 07841 065445 so that we can prepare a plan for the work needed

Refreshments will be provided on both days and we ask that people will bring their own tools and something to sit on (if they need to sit).

The allotment is on the Burnside Allotments site

There is some parking on Burnside and outside the allotment and more can be accessed in Taunton and Budleigh Close. The CHS site is right near the Burnside entrance , please call 07841 065445 for directions on the date if you can’t find us.
