In 2010, CHS achieved national recognition as one of the UK’s Best Companies, gaining "1 star First Class" status and appearing as the 75^th best mid-sized company in the Sunday Times ‘Best Companies’ competition.

Give a girl a computer…

In 2009, one of CHS's Outreach ICT tutors, Amanda Smith, was voted by the public as the region’s Digital Hero!

With the £5,000 that Amanda has won, we’ll try to develop more Digital Heroes like her. We’ll be able to provide a service to more people, but equally importantly it will raise the profile of the project locally and show people how they can benefit from getting online at home.
